Tiger 3 teaser: The wait is over. Salman Khan’s agent Tiger is back with another deadly mission. The film also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.
Salman Khan the OG spy of the YRF Spy Universe, is back. On Wednesday, the makers of Tiger 3 unveiled a new teaser and it gives the best glimpse yet into the world of the Maneesh Sharma directorial. Tiger 3, starring Salman, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi is set to be released on Diwali 2023. The makers shared the teaser on legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra’s birth anniversary.

Salman Khan’s Tiger has played a crucial role in shaping how big the YRF Spy Universe franchise is today and all the eyes are now on his upcoming film to reveal the next series of events from the spy universe. Tiger 3 follows the events of (2017), War (2019), and Pathaan (2023).
Promising an edge-of-the-seat action entertainer, the teaser opens with Salman declaring that after 20 years of service to India does he need a character certificate? He says, “Tiger gaddar hai (Tiger is a traitor). Tiger is enemy number 1.” He appears to be recording a video even as gunshots were heard in the background.
Next, Salman was seen fighting with dozens of fully-armed soldiers, shooting them all. What followed was a lot of fighting scenes across what looked like Turkey and the Middle East, and jumping from buildings. At one point, Salman said, “Jab tak Tiger mara nahi, tab tak Tiger hara nahi (As long as Tiger is not dead, he has not lost).”

Tiger 3 will be released on November 10 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. It is the third part of the Tiger franchise, and has been directed by Maneesh Sharma and stars Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist. In it, Salman and Katrina will reunite on screen after their 2019 film Bharat. Prior to it, the duo featured in hits like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya and Partner.
The film will reportedly also have a cameo featuring Shah Rukh Khan‘s Pathaan, who was seen with Salman Khan’s Tiger in Siddharth Anand’s blockbuster Pathaan. After Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai’s box office success, filmmaker Aditya Chopra, who heads YRF, had introduced two more spy agents, Hrithik Roshan (Kabir) in War and Shah Rukh Khan (Pathaan).
In the short promo, Tiger aka Salman delivers a message. He says, “I am Avinash Singh Rathore but I am Tiger for all of you”. as he begins to narrate his story. He shares he has been declared a traitor after serving the country for 20 years and he wants the people of the country to decide how they want to introduce him to his son. He says, “Main India see apna character certificate maang raha hun (I am asking for a character certificate from India.”
After delivering the message, he is off to a mission where he is seen fighting his new enemies. The teaser boasts of some heavy-duty dialogues as Salman concludes, “Jab take Tiger mara nahi, tab take Tiger haara nahi”.
The one-minute-43-second-long teaser opens with Salman asserting his dedication to the nation. “After 20 years of service to India, I have never asked for anything in return. But today, I have a demand. You’re being told that Tiger is a traitor. Tiger is enemy No. 1. So, after 20 years of service, I am asking for a character certificate for India,” he broadcasts from his hideout.
“India will tell my son that his father is not a traitor,” he says before the video cuts to a montage of action sequences including one that shows Salman take on a group of heavily armed soldiers single handedly. “Jab tak Tiger mara nahi, tab tak Tiger hara nahi,” he says to conclude the video.
According to reports, Tiger 3 will feature a cameo appearance by Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan. Tiger 3, the latest film in YRF’s Spy Universe, also features Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in key roles.
Salman wrapped the shoot of Tiger 3 in Abu Dhabi in May this year. Upon the completion of the shoot, the actor told the media, “Last night, I was shooting for Tiger (Tiger 3) and I have completed Tiger 3. Now you will get to see Tiger on Diwali, inshallah. It was a very hectic shoot, it was good though.” The first poster of the movie, featuring Salman and Katrina, was released earlier this month. In it, both the stars, who play spies, looked ready to face their enemies with a machine gun in their hands.
The year has been good so far for the Hindi film industry witrh the mega success of Pathaan, Gadar 2, Jawan, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and Satyaprem Ki Katha. Now, it seems like Salman Khan will add another blockbuster hit to the list with the release of Tiger 3 on Diwali.
The last two films, Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai, were box office winners. While Ek Tha Tiger amassed a collection of Rs 198.78 crore, Tiger Zinda Hai earned Rs 339.16 crore.
